This show is based off of Pachelbel's Canon in D Major. The clever construction of this arrangement is the mastermind of Shane Kelbley. The first movement starts out in typical marching-band style, but is followed by a strong and driving second number. The ballad features a muted trumpet solo with beautiful accompaniment and a strong moment. The fourth movement is a swingin' arrangement of the canon with a nifty front ensemble feature. The fifth movement starts with a rock section but soon turns back into the familiar theme.
